Through the Threads for iKasi Foundation, full school uniforms were donated to underprivileged learners at Ingqayizivele Secondary School in Tembisa, ensuring every student has the dignity to learn.
Part of a Longer Journey
The September 2024 handover at Ingqayizivele Secondary sits early in the foundation's record of school uniform work in Tembisa, ahead of the handovers that followed at Inxiweni Primary School and Zitikeni Secondary School in 2026. The same principle carries through each of them: a learner who has what they need to walk through the school gate is a learner who can focus on being in class.
The Fudumala Ubuntu Challenge continues that work today, asking the community one question: can you sponsor a school jersey so a child stays warm this winter?
