Sandvik Corporate Partnership
2024 marked a turning point for the Fudumala School Jersey Drive. Through a partnership with Sandvik, a global engineering company with a strong presence in South Africa, the campaign was able to scale its reach dramatically.
The Sandvik team did not just write a cheque. They engaged their employees, participated in handover events, and brought corporate social investment to life in a way that felt genuine and connected to the communities they serve.
The Handover Events
Across 12 schools in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, handover events brought together learners, teachers, volunteers, and sponsors. Each event was more than just a distribution, it was a celebration of community, Ubuntu, and the belief that every child deserves warmth.
570 learners walked away with brand new school jerseys, many wearing a proper school jersey for the very first time.

What 2024 Taught Us
2024 proved that when communities and corporations come together with a shared purpose, the impact multiplies. It showed that the Fudumala model, sponsor, procure, deliver, celebrate, works at scale.
Most importantly, 2024 reminded us why this work matters. Every jersey is more than fabric. It is a message to a child: you are seen, you are valued, and you belong.
