The Fudumala School Jersey Drive has always been about more than just clothing. It is about dignity, community, and Ubuntu in action. Each campaign this year has shown us how powerful partnerships can be when we come together to support learners across South Africa.
We also want to acknowledge and thank the individuals and companies who chose to remain anonymous. Your belief in the spirit of Fudumala and in giving dignity to learners has helped make these moments possible.
January – March 2025 | Tembisa
We began the year where it all started, in the heart of Tembisa. Working with our community schools, we provided jerseys and full Fudumala packs to learners who needed them most. This period laid the foundation for the year, reminding us that warmth in winter is also warmth of the heart.

May 2025 | Ikusasa Comprehensive School, Tembisa
In May, the Threads for Ikasi Foundation partnered with Growthpoint to deliver 50 full school uniforms. This handover reflected how corporate partnerships can scale our impact.

Later in May, we joined hands with Roots 182 to provide school uniforms to learners at Marhulana Primary. This campaign showed the value of ongoing partnerships in expanding dignity for learners.

July 2025 | Mandela Day Special
In July, 22 On Sloane kept the Mandela Day spirit alive. Together, we delivered jerseys to 50 learners at Emmangweni Primary School in Tembisa. This was especially meaningful, as the sponsorship came through one of our alumni of the Township Digital Market Access (TDMA) Programme.

September 2025 | Umtata Expansion
September marked a milestone with the expansion of the Fudumala School Jersey Drive beyond Gauteng. On Heritage Day (24 September), we reflected on the cultural and social importance of Ubuntu. The following day, on 25 September, we handed over 109 Fudumala packs in Umtata, Eastern Cape.
The Umtata handover on 25 September 2025 delivered 109 packs across Esethu Primary School and Mandela Park FSS, sponsored by Standard Bank SA Transaction Banking. Their support enabled us to extend dignity, warmth, and confidence to learners in the Eastern Cape, proving that this drive is truly becoming a nationwide movement.
